Takenta was a Tyran technician in the 2360s. In 2369, he was working at the particle fountain in orbit of Tyrus VIIa under Doctor Farallon. When the experiment failed and most of the Tyran crew and the crew of the USS Enterprise-D were beamed back to the Enterprise-D, Farallon noted that Takenta was missing. Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge went back to search for him but only found his dead body. (TNG: "The Quality of Life" ) Takenta was played by an unknown actor.
