[Source] A stimpak or stimpack was a medical device used by individuals in the field to instantly apply medication, bacta, or painkillers when access to a medcenter was not possible. A small utility container with an auto-injection tube, stimpaks could be used repeatedly, but continued use reduced the effect of the medication if used within a short period of time. Primarily used by soldiers or other militias in the field, private citizens also used stimpaks when exploring or traveling in areas where injury could be sustained.
