Guido Karl Anton List, better known as Guido von List, who lived 1848 to 1919, was a writer, mountaineer, and occult author. Von List is one of the most important figures in Germanic neopaganism, and runic study. He is the author of The Secret of the Runes (book), widely regarded as the pioneering work of Runology in modern occultism.
