The Third Energy Facility was located north of Edward City. When the local area was exchanged with the land to be formed 3,000,000 years in the future, much of the facility was left submerged under a lake. The research staff and guards continued to research Third Energy in the 20-year gap between their arrival in the future and T.R.A.T.'s rescue attempt, finally losing the outpost to the Helmet People, while a guard outside was killed by a Pteranodon.
