Christopher Hayes was born into a military family. He was 10 years old when his father retired from the Marine Corps and settled the family in Remington, VA, a small town west of Quantico, VA and Quantico Marine Corps Base. After the attacks, of 9/11, Hayes enlisted in the Marine Corps. While still too young to officially enlist, he began his P.T. in preparation for his departure to boot camp in Parris Island, SC. In August 2002, Hayes left the comfort of Remington and his family and with his new "brothers" headed to Parris Island for his basic training. Upon graduating from Parris Island, Hayes and his friends took a trip to Charleston, SC. By chance, Hayes met Summer Andrews.
