Bratton was one of the winners of a writing competition held by Big Finish to find new authors. Her winning entry was published in the anthology Short Trips: How the Doctor Changed My Life. She also contributed an essay to the reference book Chicks Unravel Time: Women Journey Through Every Season of Doctor Who.
