Princess Chisakami (chee-sah-KAH-mee) was a Yamani princess, daughter of the Yamani emperor, who was betrothed to Prince Roald of Conté as part of the treaty negotiations that the Mindelans conducted while Piers was the Tortallan ambassador to the Islands. She was killed in an earthquake in the summer of 453 HE and the negotiations collapsed, ending three years of work on the treaty between the Islands and Tortall. With the death of Chisakami, a new treaty was drawn up, naming Princess Shinkokami as the chosen bride of Roald.
