Soleá (plural: soleares) is one of the most basic forms or palos of flamenco music, probably originating around Cádiz or Seville in Andalusia, the most southern region of Spain. It is normally accompanied by one guitar only, in the key of E Phrygian, although it is also often heard in A phrygian as well.
