Thomas Gaisford Gooch (1880-31 March 1942) was a metal worker and politician from Hackney. Born in Hackney, he was the son of Thomas Gooch, a general packer, and his wife Sarah Emily née Gaisford, a stationer and newsagent. By 1901 he was still living in the parental home, working as a gas lamp maker. When he married Clarrisa Wallace in September 1909 he was described as a sheet metal worker. His wife was from Newington in south London, and at the time of the 1911 census the couple were living there. He was a tinsmith for a motor cab company.
