Kaborko was a dormant, submerged volcano on Bosys in the Unknown Regions. Though active around the time of the Stark Hyperspace War, it went dormant shortly after, and by the time Bosys joined the Golden Empire in 104 ABY, the native Shillins had commenced mining operations deep down the volcano's vents. Kaborko became a tourist destination for both aliens and Shillins, as its lingering mineral content supported species unseen anywhere else on the planet. Bosys's government often had to balance the competing interests of mineral mining and ecological conservation.
