Sariketegon was the location of an Obsidian Order base during the 24th century. (Dragon Ball Z vs. Star Trek: The Beginning of Infinity) The planet was made up of rugged terrain, with numerous canyons criss-crossing its surface. There were no native plants or animals on the planet. The planet had abundant mineral resources located at the base of the canyons. The Cardassian shipped in a slave labour force to mine these resources because of the harsh and dangerous conditions in the canyons. During the 2370, most of the Cardassian base was destroyed after an attack by the Maquis.
