Baraban is a professional murderer based in the Execution Hill district of Port Blacksand. His abode is midway down a little known alley running east off lower Winding Street. He is an accomplished swordsman and duellist and well respected in the Assassins' Guild. His method of killing is to somehow pick a duel with someone, kill them and then collect a fee from those benefiting from the death. He arranges things to look legal and with a smattering of bribes in the right places escapes justice.
