Since the Imperial National Party was the only political party that ran in the elections of 3503, the televised debates during the campaign were held between party members from differing internal platforms of the party itself. Due to the INP's position as the dominant party, the opinions represented by the various platforms could be radically different. Chancellor Albert Hanbauer faced off twice against the party leader William von Hessin.
