While on his way through the Great Forest with the Sword of Acorns in hand, Sonic realizes he is being watched. He demands that his stalker reveal themselves, but is surprised to find a girl that he recognizes from Knothole. Mina Mongoose reintroduces herself to Sonic and explains that she's heading out to confront Dr. Eggman, wanting revenge for the roboticization of her friends and family.
