Evik Nath was a male Bajoran and a member of Starfleet in the 24th century. Evik was the security chief of Deep Space 9, with the rank of lieutenant commander, after Ro Laren, a position he held until his death from natural causes in 2382. When Jefferson Blackmer was assigned to replace Evik, Ro Laren found it difficult to adjust to Blackmer, having liked Evik so much and being so shocked by his sudden death.
