Hawl is a an orcish salesman whose customers include the goblins. As a shrewd businessman he is able to barter almost useless stuff for better items such as food and weapons. Through Hawl, the goblins were able to “obtain” Klik. Hawl adopted a dwarven boy named Targoth Bladebeard. Apparently Targoth’s father was killed by Hawl in a previous battle. Hawl felt guilty leaving the boy alone and took him in as his own.
