In the mirror universe, Rana Desai was a Terran female and Imperial Starfleet officer who lived during the 23rd century. In 2277, Desai was serving aboard Imperial Starbase 47 as Commodore Diego Reyes's chief interrogator. Among her duties was keeping control of Atish Khatami which she did violently, including killing Cervantes Quinn as an example of her power. Khatami ended up killing Desai once Zhao Sheng freed her.
