The Ebyon Federation, otherwise known as the Republic of Ebyon, was a governmental body that controlled the planets of the Ebyon system, namely Ebyon V, VI, and VII, along with several other planets. The Federation came under direct threat of the Sith Empire in 78,163 ABY, when the system was blockaded. The New Republic came to the aid of the Ebyon Federation and liberated them, which eventuated in an alliance between the Ebyon Federation and the Republic .
