Captain Raymond was a 24th century Starfleet officer who commanded the Federation starship USS Tecumseh and was recognized as one of the best officers in the fleet. Raymond commanded the Tecumseh during the Federation-Cardassian Wars, and later during the Second Federation-Klingon War of 2372-2373. In early 2373, Raymond commanded the Tecumseh, alongside the USS Rutledge, in heading up the counterattack against the Klingon forces in the Archanis sector.
