Epsilon Trianguli was the designation of a planet in the Kalandra sector. A Federation listening post was placed on the planet to monitor Dominion activity in the region. The listening was used as a proving ground for a biological agent to test the immunity of Human Augments to a virus to eventually be used against the Cardassian settlement on Ventani II.
