Digital Design consists of the use of type, image, and motion graphics in order to communicate complex ideas or concepts. Digital Design is also commonly referred to as New Media. In addition to concepts of color, layout and typography utilized in Graphic Design, Digital Design introduces elements of interactivity and duration. Through the use of digital video and 3d animation, a digital designer is equipped to relate a complex narrative, producing works capable of engaging a viewer on multiple levels of interest.
