The Ganymede Sea Rat is a kind of large mammalian creature which dwells in the oceans of Ganymede, a moon of Jupiter. It looks mostly like a seal with a rodent face, and was one of the main sources of food for the moon's colonists in the early years of space exploration. As a result the species became endangered.
