Marasin was a friend of Pvt. Byran Jakovs. During the Battle of Aspho Fields, Marasin, Jakovs, Pvt. Steven Hurnan, Cpl. Marcus Fenix, and Pvt. Carlos Santiago made their way across the battlefield so they could attempt to take out the enemy's last remaining Asp. Marasin hit the Asp from one side with Gut-Punchers, while the other three hit it from the other side. However, the Asp survived and continued to move. Carlos and his team jumped up to take it out, but were hit by machine gun fire and killed or wounded. Marcus managed to hijack the Asp, but it is unknown what happened to Marasin.
