Shinkichi Yamane is a adopted son of Kyohei Yamane, and the brother of Masaji Yamada. Godzilla (1954 Film) Young Shinkichi was first seen on Oda Island doing lookout with one of the elders, and sees his brothers raft from the wreckage of the Bingo Maru and The Eiko Maru. Then in Oda Island when Godzilla attacks his house, his family is killed and Shinkichi becomes an Orphan. Then in Tokyo (with along Oda Island Survivors) he is a witness of the attack. Later On Oda Island after Kyohei Yamane passes Masaji's grave, Kyohei adopts Shinkichi as a son. Then on the ship Shinkichi is seen among the people before and after Serizawa's uses the Oxygen Destroyer.
