Umbrella Sergeant was a member of Umbrella's paramilitary force who survived through the global T-virus pandemic until around 2007 or 2008, when Umbrella's facility in Tokyo was attacked by Alice and her clone army. After Captain Hotaka's team was eliminated on the surface, Umbrella Sergeant led a team of fifteen men to an elevator where they planned to kill the attackers upon arrival. This was all planned out by Alice, however, and the team was caught by surprise and neutralised.
