When the Insectra Empire spaceship crashed down on the Kaamdaarn planet, closely followed The Blurrgh, Mello and his assistant arrived to greet the new arrivals. Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary were confused by this third party, so Mello introduced himself and his people as peaceful people, prompting Dark Visor and Commander Jello Wobbla to form a truce. The villains turned their weapons on Mello, but found they didn't work on this planet. This convinced the soldiers of both armies to give up on war and live on the planet.
