Jeff was a Crodin guard, assigned to the Tower of N. He was off-duty when Balzak Globotron and Ginkus infiltrated the building. When Balzak Globotron entered the guard barracks room, he convinced the head guard that he was Jeff, having undergone a series of surgeries to replace his body parts with the metallic sphere technology. The guard found this plausible as that tech was common; why not use it for prosthetics? Balzak, as Jeff, claimed that he had become addicted to the surgeries and kept having to have more, until his entire body was made of the spheres.
