Nuppeppo were animated mounds of flesh stripped from bone, amorphous piles of rotting, stinking skin and tissue. They arose from the Taint-infused remains of those who had been killed in the most brutal manner, or as a side-effect of sinister maho experiments. Nuppeppo were not particularly fast or durable, but if they were killed, its Tainted flesh would reanimate again within three days unless it was burned.
