Nation Song Contest 134 was hosted by Calypso for the third time after their fourth victory in the previous edition. The edition's theme was "#WOW", named after Queen Ira of Calypso's own version of "WOW" ("Walk On Water"). During the shows, the interpretation of the meaning of this acronym was left up to the viewers. However, the two results shows were themed around different readings of the acronym. For the semifinal results, the theme was "Why Only Winners?", with the announcements focussing on the nonqualifiers rather than the qualifiers for once. For the final results, the theme was "Winner of Winners". Eight separate scoreboards were presented representing the seven pots and the Waiting List, each with their own totals.
