The Dorvain General Election, 1878 was held on the 27th May 1878 to elect the Twentieth Parliament of the Commonwealth of Dorvain. Each of the 125 parliamentary constituencies elected one Member of Parliament to Parliament. Clarke's Democrats won the election, and enacted the Strikers Act 1878 forbidding employers to fire strikers on the spot without reasonable grounds.
