Han Solo was a Corellian pilot who began his long career as a member of the Imperial Military. After rescuing a Wookiee named Chewbacca, he defected and the two became smuggling partners. The two were later joined by Kyle Katarn and the trio set numerous speed and smuggling records throughout the galaxy, including the famed Kessel Run which, according to Han, was made in less than twelve parsecs in the Millennium Falcon, a ship Han won from Lando Calrissian. Han later helped Luke Skywalker defeat the Empire. He also served in the New Republic as a General during the Re-Unification War.
