The grey wig was an item used in the Prince Ali Rescue quest, which was removed from the game along with the quest on 28 September 2012. Ned used to create it if three balls of wool were given to him. A yellow dye could be used on a grey wig to turn it blonde. The wig was one of the necessary items to disguise Prince Ali as Lady Keli, part of the rescue operation.
