The Mermaid Suit is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. "The skin of the mythical beast", the Mermaid Suit is an upgrade for the Flippers and allows Link to swim and dive in deep water as well as boosting his swimming speed considerably. It is found in the sixth dungeon, Mermaid's Cave. The Mermaid Suit allows Link to swim in the sea and even explore the seabed by diving. It also allows him to swim against currents that are far too strong to tackle with the Flippers only.
