Glod Squadron was a Rebel Alliance starfighter squadron who flew Y-Wing Starfighters. The squadron claims that they were formed by a typo, hence their unusual name. In 9 ABY they participated in the Attack on the Nostril of Palpatine. Engaging the Superweapon's escorts, they were responsible for knocking out both of the Beta-class ETR-3 escort transports that tried to protect the weapon.
