Montenegro was a European country in the Balkans, formerly part of Yugoslavia. It was bordered by Bosnia and Herzegovina to the north, Serbia to the east and Albania to the south. At the time of Day 1, Montenegro and Serbia were part of Yugoslavia, however by Day 9 they were separate countries. (Findings at CTU, "Day 9: 2:00pm-3:00pm")
