The Corridor on the 3rd Floor serves as the central hall connecting the various rooms on this floor. After exiting the Storage Closet, the protagonist has the choice of entering any of the four rooms in the hallway. Due to the age of Derceto however, the boards in the center of the hallway are no longer able to support the weight of the player. After the protagonist first enters Derceto and walks across the center of the Corridor, the boards become unstable. If the player passes through the center of the hallway from either side, the floor will give way leading the protagonist to an early grave. This can be avoided by passing through two of the rooms.
