Yalos-the-Capital is the capital, largest, and most-populous city of the Golden Empires of Yalos and Ur, and the continent of Alikal, and the most-important city of the Kals. It is ruled by the Golden Emperor: People's Emperor Yikai II, who was elected by the 64 Greatest Noble Houses. Yikai rules from Tall-Eight, a tall eight-sided pyramid at the center of the city, which is also home to the Sun Clergy, and was built from the red boat Ur-Siranar. Ur-Siranar was the capital of Ur before the Toothless Warriors sacked it 367 years ago, building Yalos-the-Capital atop it.
