Rigger is buried in the cemetery on Olive's lot in Strangetown. His name is a play on "rigor mortis", the process of the stiffening of muscles in the body shortly after death has occurred. He died in a fire. According to Rigger's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was blond before it turned grey. Also his age data indicates that when he died, he still had 26 days left before he would have died a natural death. He reappeared in Midnight Hollow, also as a ghost. Unlike his counterpart in The Sims 2, he died by electrocution, as an adult.
