Shadows of Kanaxai are creatures guarding the quarry sites in The Aurios Mines challenge mission when the quarry is under the control of the Nightmare Horde. To take control of the quarry, the Shadow of Kanaxai must be slain, at which point it will be replaced by a Luxon Enchanter and produce jade for the party. Unlike most versions of Kanaxai, this type does not need to be knocked down to be killed. It does, however, have 3 skills other than Demonic Agility.
