Vactoonie was a small mining colony planet in the Inner Rim Territories, but when the climate got to hot, everyone was forced to leave. It was only populated by small creatures, but only in the northern hemisphere, the only livable part. The Galactic Empire used the planet as a staging ground during the Galactic Civil War and the Imperial Remnant maintained a secret research facility on the planet.
