We will research global and local systems of food production and distribution before engaging in several projects that will promote institutional and cultural changes towards a more sustainable food system in our area. At the end of spring quarter, participants in this Action Research Team will be able to see the tangible effects of their project and they will be more empowered in their role as food citizens.
