Tango Buenos Aires Festival y Mundial, is a world tango festival and competition that is organized each year by the Buenos Aires Ciudad. The first edition was in 2002. The competition section is called also Mundial de tango wich is very prestigios in the world of tango dancing and the festival section were events of concerts, movies, books, milongas etc. In December 2009, tango was declared by UNESCO Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad.
