Q'ell was a member of an alien species and a resident of the deuterium mining colony visited by Enterprise NX-01 in 2152. Commander Tucker befriended Q'ell when he caught the youth sneaking into his shuttlepod. Q'ell expressed a strong curiosity towards spaceflight technology. Tucker offered to take him to Enterprise for a tour. Shortly before the crew of Enterprise left, Tucker gave Q'ell a PADD with schematics of Enterprise. (ENT: "Marauders")
