Jean Laconte was a soldier of the French Maquis Resistance. In the level "Fuel Plant", Laconte was ordered by Major Gerald Ingram to take out an MG42 on a halftrack. However, Laconte is killed by that same machine gun shortly afterwards. Pierre LaRoche then snipes the machine gun operator.
