The Risk was a four-piece boyband that were initially composed of Ashley Baptiste, Andy Merry, Derry Mensah, and Mitchell McPike. Charlie Healy was brought into the band, while Marlon and Mitchell were removed from the group at judges houses stage of the competition. Original member Ashley Baptiste had decided to leave the band prior to the start of the live shows and was replaced by Ashford Campbell, who had previously been a member of the group Nu Vibe.
