The California Wine Fair is an annual wine tasting event in support of the Calgary Opera. The 2006 event will be held on March 21, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The 2005 event was held on Friday, Feburary 25 from 7PM-9:30 at the Telus Convention Centre as part of the Savour Wine & Food Festival. This event showcased more than 200 wines from 80 California wineries. Cheese and hor d'oevres were included in the wine tasting.
