Shigeta also lend his voice in the Disney animated movie Mulan. He also appeared in Lost Horizon and Midway. Shigeta appeared in a wide variety of television shows, such as "Emergency!", the original "Hawaii Five-O", "T.J. Hooker", "S.W.A.T.", "Medical Center", "Mission: Impossible", "Magnum, P.I.", "Murder, She Wrote", "The Rockford Files" and "Simon & Simon". Shigeta died in his sleep on July 28, 2014 at the age of 85.
