She didn't really get powers, but by often staying near to Kurosaki Ichigo, she obtained a kind of low level of reiatsu which allows her to see and feel Hollows and various people's reiatsu. She does, however, have some fire-based power in the Karakura-Rizer story (episodes 213-214).
