The history of the Elemental Eye is linked with that of the city of Dalaran. Back in the times of the kingdom of Arathi, the great city state of Dalaran was founded. Dalaran became a great centre of arcane knowledge and study, and the original Magocrats became what is now known as the ruling council of the Kirin Tor. The Kirin Tor issued a great decree to further the boundaries of magical understanding, and some magocrats began to form their own ‘magic orders’, dedicated to carrying out the wishes of the council. One of those early groups became known as ‘The Order of the Elemental Eye’.
