Maria Jane Connor (née Sutherland) is a Coronation Street resident who works as a hairdresser at Audrey's Salon. She is the younger sister of Kirk Sutherland and is the mother of Liam Connor Jr. During her time on the Street, she has dated Tyrone Dobbs, Jason Grimshaw, Vikram Desai, Nick Tilsley, Liam Connor and Chris Gray. She was also most recently in a relationship with Marcus Dent, but ended the relationship when she discovered he had returned to his former 'gay' life and had an affair with Todd Grimshaw.
